TEDxSeoul은, TED가 “좋은 아이디어를 널리 퍼뜨리자(Ideas Worth Spreading)”는 취지 아래 기획한 TEDx 프로그램의 공식적인 라이선스를 통해 개최되는 지역 이벤트입니다. TED를 통해 공개되는 강연들을 번역하여 한국에 소개하는 한편 오프라인에서의 정기 컨퍼런스 및 모임을 통해 한국 발 아이디어를 발굴하여 세계에 알리고, 참여하는 사람들 간의 새로운 만남을 통한 아이디어의 확장을 촉진하기 위해 조직되었습니다.

TEDxSeoul 은 Inspire, Share, Change를 모토로 아이디어를 중심으로 사람이 모이고, 새로운 관계를 만들고, 이를 통해 사회 속의 크고 작은 변화를 이끄는 네트워크의 장을 지향합니다.

TEDxSeoul Conference 일 년에 두 번 열리는 300~500명 규모의 컨퍼런스 TEDxSeoul Salon 50~80명 내외 소규모 비공식 모임 Inspiration Delivery TED를 통해 소개되는 영상을 한글로 번역 / 소개 TEDxSeoul에서 소개되는 아이디어를 영상으로 제작/배포 What we do [회사후소 繪事後素] 2010년 11월 27일 (토요일) 신촌 현대백화점 U-PLEX 제이드홀 TED Open Translation Project 매월 마지막 주 금요일 번역자 정기모임 Korean English What is TEDxSeoul? When the right information is passed on to the right people, this information can make a difference. When the right people meet together, this meeting can make difference. TEDxSeoul is a regional event run under an official license to plan TEDx programs based on TED’s vision, “Ideas Worth Spreading.” It was founded with the purpose of introducing TED talks to Korea by translating them into Korean, holding regular offline conferences and gatherings as a window to discover and spread ideas originating in Korea throughout the world, and promoting the expansion of ideas through this special meeting of participants. Centered on the motto “Inspire, Share, Change,” TEDxSeoul aims to create a network to bring about change, big and small, in our society by gathering people together and providing the opportunity to make new relationships.
